All Military Members and Their Immediate Family are Eligible for a $10,000 Scholarship for the FIU CMBA
Florida International University has provided over $1,000,000 in scholarships to support our active duty military, veterans, spouses and family members as they pursue their educational and career goals
Military - Active Duty and Veterans
Service members are given more responsibility to run their military "business" than most civilians of similar experience, and now it's time to get the training and recognition you need to go to the next level. Whether you are staying in the military or moving on to a civilian career, the Corporate Master's in Business Administration (CMBA) is the perfect next step. Florida International University has created an online program that is fully accredited and approved by the Veterans Administration.
"I chose FIU for the flexibility they offer to help students like myself continue their education while still fully employed outside the country. The veteran's scholarship offered made it also affordable for me to pursue my master's degree," said Freddie Sanquiche, an Apache Crewchief in the Air Force who is now a civilian contractor in Iraq. He is in the CMBA program for his personal development and the opportunity for faster promotion.
"I chose FIU because of high academic standing, the highest accreditation level for MBAs, good program value and a fully online program," stated Andy Gammel, who served six years in the Marine Corps in Special Operations and now works in the oil business. He feels the program will give him a significant edge in long-term planning, organizational skill and "big picture" understanding.
Veterans and active-duty military around the globe are turning to the FIU CMBA program to give them the knowledge and skills they need to take on even more responsibility, which is opening the door to greater opportunities in their careers.
FIU is approved by the following programs to assist our military members with their educational goals:
- Post 9/11 GI Bill Benefits
- Montgomery GI Bill
- Tuition Reimbursement
FIU is a military-friendly university uniquely prepared to help you achieve your educational and career goals.
- We understand you don't control your schedule and deployments may temporarily halt your study
- You can study 24/7 – you take your classes on your time, not ours
- Our staff understand the needs of the military family
